EMPORIA, KAN. – The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau will host Your Quarterly Business Boost: HOW TO AVOID OR AT LEAST MINIMIZE HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENTS on Tuesday, March 24, from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial.

Join us for the first Quarterly Business Boost with Kevin Johnson, J.D. – General Counsel at Emporia State University as we discuss ways to Avoid or Minimize a Hostile Work Environment on Tuesday, March 24 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial.

Be a part of these quarterly workshops that will help “boost” you and your business. These workshops will be held in March – May – August – October.

March 24: 8:00 – 10:00 am: How to Avoid or at Least Minimize Hostile Work Environments; Kevin Johnson, General Council, Emporia State University.

May 19: 8:30 – 10:00 am: How to Network When You Would Rather Stay Home; Adrianne Evans and Marsha Sheahan, Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce.

August 12: 8:00 – 10:00 am: HR Side of Social Media; Phil Hayes SPHR, the Arnold Group.

October: Details for the October sessions including topic, cost and date will be announced at a later time.

The first three sessions will be held at the Trusler Business Center.

Ticket Pricing:

Chamber Members: $25 per session or pre-register for all three for only $50*.

*Different individuals can attend the different workshops with the pre-registration from a business.

Non-Members: $30 per session.
