Chamber & League of Women Voters to Host 2nd Legislative Dialogue March 16

The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce Government Matters Committee along with the League of Women Voters will host their second Legislative Dialogue for this session on Saturday, March 16, in the conference rooms at Flint Hills Technical College, 3301 W. 18th Ave.  Coffee will be available at 8 a.m. with the Dialogue beginning at 8:30 a.m. Senator Jeff Longbine and Representatives Dr. Duane Droge, Mark Schreiber, and Eric Smith have been invited to participate.

This year’s Legislative Dialogues are sponsored by AT&T; Cybersecurity Research and Outreach Center, School of Business & Technology, ESU; Presbyterian Manor of Emporia; and our host location, Flint Hills Technical College.

Dialogues are a series of community political forums organized each year by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters. All Dialogues are free to attend. This series of forums provide a great opportunity for the public to voice their concerns and ideas to their elected officials.
