Who can join the Emporia Area Chamber?

How do I choose the right membership level?

Our membership options are designed around your organization’s size, goals, and desired level of engagement. Whether you’re just starting out or are one of the region’s largest employers, our team can help you select the membership that’s the best fit for your business.

What are the benefits of Chamber membership?

Members enjoy networking events, business promotion, advocacy, educational opportunities, workforce development resources, community engagement, referrals, marketing exposure, and access to valuable business resources. Higher membership levels include additional visibility, sponsorship opportunities, exclusive events, and premium benefits.

When does my membership begin?

Your Chamber membership becomes active as soon as your application is approved and your membership investment is received. Chamber memberships follow a January 1–December 31 calendar year. Businesses joining during the year receive a prorated membership investment for the remainder of the current membership year.

Can multiple employees from my organization participate?

Yes. Depending on your membership level, multiple representatives from your organization can take advantage of Chamber events, networking opportunities, educational programs, and other member benefits. Membership dues may qualify as a business expense; however, we recommend consulting your tax professional regarding your specific situation.

Do I have to attend events to benefit from membership?

Not at all. While networking is one of the Chamber’s greatest advantages, many members also benefit from marketing opportunities, business referrals, advocacy, workforce initiatives, educational resources, and increased online visibility—even if they aren’t able to attend every event.

How can I get involved after joining?

There are many ways to engage! Attend networking events, participate in educational programs, sponsor Chamber activities, join a committee, host a ribbon cutting, promote your business through Chamber marketing channels, or volunteer at community events. The more involved you become, the more value you’ll receive from your membership.
