Dates Set for the 2015 Legislative Dialogue
EMPORIA, KAN. – The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau Government Matters Committee along with the League of Women Voters will again host the 2015 Legislative Dialogues with Senator Longbine along with Representatives Ron Highland, Don Hill and Peggy Mast.
The dates for this year’s Legislative Dialogue Series have been set for February 21, March 28 and May 16. Coffee and pastries will be available at 8 a.m. with the dialogue discussion beginning at 8:30 a.m. Locations will be announced at a later time.
Dialogues are a series of community political forums organized each year by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters. All Dialogues are free to attend. This series of dialogues provide a great opportunity for the public to voice their concerns and ideas to their elected officials.
