Su Negocio Academy Opens Enrollment for Emporia
Bilingual entrepreneurship program from Herr. ERA Enterprise culminates in a public graduation and
live business exhibition
EMPORIA, KS — Herr. ERA Enterprise LLC today announced that enrollment is open for the Emporia
cohort of Su Negocio Academy, a bilingual entrepreneurship training program built to help local business
owners start, grow, and move forward with confidence. Seats are limited for the upcoming session.
Classes will be held November 5 and 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, at the Humanitarian
Center, 215 West 6th Avenue, Suite 107, in Emporia, in partnership with Kansas Spanish Speakers and
RECONOCE Institute. The cohort will culminate in a graduation ceremony and live business exhibition
open to the public on Friday, November 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Flint Hills Technical College,
giving graduates the opportunity to showcase what they have built in front of the community.
Su Negocio Academy is designed for aspiring and current business owners seeking hands-on, practical
training in starting and growing a business. The program is delivered bilingually, in English and Spanish,
reflecting the needs of the communities Herr. ERA Enterprise serves across Kansas.
“So many people in our community already have what it takes to build something of their own.
They just need a clear path and someone walking alongside them,” said Rebeca Herrera, founder
of Herr. ERA Enterprise. “Su Negocio Academy exists to be that path, practical, bilingual, and
built for real life.”
Businesses interested in supporting the Emporia cohort may become a program sponsor for $500, which
includes logo placement on all class materials and signage, recognition at both class days and at
graduation, a feature in Herr. ERA Enterprise’s newsletter, and the option to host a materials table or
speak briefly during class or at graduation.
