The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce that John & Claudia Kretsinger have been named the 2017 Volunteers of the Year.
John has been a member of the Chamber since 1971. John & Claudia are active members of the Chamber and have played a large role in the Ambassador Committee. They have attended Group Lunches, continuously volunteer at Business After Hours, and assist the Chamber in any ways they are able.
At each year’s end, the Chamber staff and Board members brainstorm and reflect on names of individuals who have done amazing volunteer work throughout this past year. Various names were discussed and we realize each year how truly blessed we are with the number of people who give their time to our organization.
The formal announcement of the 2017 Volunteer of the Year recipients, John & Claudia Kretsinger, will be at the Emporia Area Chamber’s 121st Annual Meeting on Friday, January 26, 2018. The same evening, awards will be given to the Business of the Year, Committee of the Year and for Lifetime Achievement.
