Chamber Launches Executive Speaker Series

EMPORIA, KAN. – The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau has scheduled the first segment of the Executive Speaker Series. The Executive Speakers Series will be held quarterly, starting with our first speaker M. Susan Chambers. M. Susan Chambers had been an Executive Vice President of Global People at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., since April 5, 2006 until August 5th, 2015.  For five years in a row, Susan was named to Fortune’s list of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business.”

This event will take place at the Emporia Country Club on Wednesday, March 30 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets are $20 and include lunch. You may register by calling our office at 620-342-1600 or using the following link to register online:
