John K Newland, who has served as an Edward Jones financial advisor in Emporia the past 14 years, has been named a principal with the firm’s holding company, The Jones Financial Companies, LLLP. He was one of 59 individuals chosen from more than 43,000 associates across the United States and Canada to join the firm’s 384 principals.
Newland and his family – wife, Jill and children, Grace, Paige and Tate – will remain in Emporia, where he will continue to serve investors.
John joined Edward Jones in 2001 and served as a financial advisor in Garnett, KS before moving to Emporia 14 years ago.
In addition to serving local investors, he serves as an Edward Jones regional leader, providing leadership and guidance to 59 branch teams located throughout western Kansas.
