Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities

The Annual Meeting of the Emporia Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of the past year and welcomes the incoming leadership. The event also recognizes and awards plaques for Business of the Year, Community Impact, Volunteer of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement. This event brings in around 350 attendees annually.

The evening includes:

Underwriter – $2500 sponsorship includes

• Twelve complimentary tickets to the event
• Discounted price on additional tickets for the event ($65)
• Recognition during the program
• 1-minute video during the program – produced by sponsor
• Logo on invitation
• Signage that recognizes your business as the underwriter of the evening
• The opportunity to welcome everyone at the start of the program
• Invite to the Sponsor Reception and choice of seating for
        twelve attendees (two tables of six)
• Recognition in the Chamber weekly member email

Gold Patron – $1000 sponsorship includes:

• Eight complimentary tickets to the event
• Discounted price on additional tickets for the event ($65)
• Recognition during the program
• Signage that recognizes your business as a Gold Patron for the evening
• The opportunity to be a part of the program
• Invite to the Sponsor Reception and choice of seating for
  eight attendees (1 table of eight)
• Recognition in the Chamber weekly member email

Silver Patron – $500 sponsorship includes:

• Four complimentary tickets to the event
• Discounted price on additional tickets for the event ($65)
• Recognition during the program
• Signage that recognizes your business as a Silver Patron for the evening
• The opportunity to be a part of the program
• Invite to the Sponsor Reception and choice of seating for four attendees

Bronze Patron – $250 sponsorship includes:

Business After Hours is a networking event that allows the sponsor to showcase his/her business.  Sponsors may elect to announce a new product, service, location change, or just say “Thank You” at their Business After Hours. All events are scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on a weeknight during fall, winter, and spring months.  These popular networking events have averaged 50 in attendance. The maximum number of sponsors per year is 9 – act quickly to reserve your sponsorship!

Sponsor Benefits:

• Opportunity to showcase your business to other Chamber members.
• Ten complimentary registrations for Sponsor’s guests.
• Announcement of the event in our Tuesday Talk newsletter.
• Employees working at the event all receive complimentary registrations.

Sponsor Responsibilities

• Site: The host business will make arrangements necessary if a site other than the place of business is to be used.
• Food: The sponsor will provide or make the arrangements and pay for any food served and is encouraged to use Chamber members when food is catered or purchased.  Call the Chamber office for names of Chamber members who provide these services. 
• Bar: The sponsor will provide and pay for all liquor, beer, or soft drinks served as well as all supplies, cups, ice, mixes, etc.  Sponsors should also make sure they have proper insurance coverage.  Call the Chamber office for names of Chamber members who provide these services. 
• Door Prizes: Sponsor is requested to donate three or four items for door prizes.  Attendees will register when arriving.  Announcements by the Chamber and the sponsor will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by door prize drawings.
• Insurance: All liabilities including premises, products, and liquor liabilities are the responsibility of the sponsor.

Coffee & Conversation allows anyone in the Emporia area to network with other individuals and hear from a local community leader on a different topic.

$125 Sponsorship Includes:

• Recognition at the event
• Recognition for all event promotions
• Opportunity to provide promotional items to attendees

This award-winning printed magazine is a combination visitor guide and relocation guide for new residents. You’ll be able to reach both of these key-demographics in one publication. Ad spots are available in quarter page, half page, and full page sizes, as well as premium placements on the back cover or inside front cover. This publication is produced in partnership with Visit Emporia and The Emporia Gazette and is printed annually in January. Contact The Emporia Gazette at 620-342-4800 for pricing and availability.

We offer a business list of members perfect for you to customize your direct marketing needs! You choose from over 550 businesses or 800 individuals (including all Chamber representatives). Labels are $50 to members and $150 to non-members.

The Chamber display window is available to member businesses to showcase their products. It is free to Chamber members.

Government Matters is active in advocating for the Emporia Community, working with City, State, and Federal officials in support of pro-business legislation; holding Legislative Dialogues with the State Elected Officials, composing the Annual Joint Legislative Statement with community partners in the region; and holding Annual Day in Topeka to meet with state agencies and departments and sponsoring Candidate Forums.  

Legislative Dialogue (February, March, and a 3rd when session is over) – $100 Sponsorship Includes:

• Signage and mention at all the dialogues

Day in Topeka Lunch (September) – $300 Sponsorship Includes:

• Recognition at the event
• Mention in marketing materials

Annual Joint Legislative Statement Sponsor (4 available) – $250 Sponsorship Includes:

• Logo recognition on the printed statement. Delivered to each State Representative and Senator at the opening of the legislative session. It can also be viewed on the website.

Leadership Emporia is considered one of the top programs in the state of Kansas.  The program brings together a diverse group of individuals from across the region once a year.  Powerful experiences provide a conceptual framework, skills, and tools for a purposeful collaborative leadership approach based on the principles and competencies of the Kansas Leadership Center. The program runs from late September to early December.

Open to all Alumni of Leadership Emporia Academy. A quarterly breakfast will be held in the ValuNet FIBER Smart room, at the Trusler Business Center. Attendees will be led through a facilitated discussion using the new book from KLC When Everyone Leads. Breakfast will be served to everyone attending.

“Mi Negocio Academy” is a comprehensive 5-class program designed to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in starting their own businesses en Español. Collaboration and guidance by Lisa Brumbaugh with the Small Business Development Center, this Spanish  academy offers valuable advice and knowledge for our Spanish-speaking individuals interested in venturing into the world of work business. Through these classes, participants will gain essential insights into crucial aspects such as business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, operations, and legal considerations. We aspire to have “Mi Negocio Academy” unlock the tools and expertise needed to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey with confidence.
