The Emporia Area Chamber and Visitors Bureau Government Matters Committee along with the League of Women Voters will host a Dialogue on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial. Coffee and pastries will be available at 8 a.m. with the roundtable discussion beginning at 8:30 a.m. This Dialogue will be with the Emporia City representatives including: Mayor, Rob Gilligan and commissioners, Jon Geitz, Danny Giefer, Steve Harmon and Bobbi Mlynar.
Dialogues are a series of community political forums organized each year by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters. All Dialogues are free to attend. This series of forums provide a great opportunity for the public to voice their concerns and ideas to their elected officials.
