Emporia Chamber Seeking Public Relations Coordinator
The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau is seeking qualified professional responsible for coordinating the public relations efforts of the Chamber while serving as the primary receptionist or the Trusler Business Center. The successful candidate will be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to function smoothly in a fast-paced environment while providing professional and efficient administrative support. Be able to work independently and as a team member possessing a cheerful and pleasant demeanor working with colleagues and the public. The candidate will be able to prioritize workload and manage time, be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, be familiar with social media, website, and general office procedures. Knowledge of WordPress is helpful, but not required.
This is a part-time position, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.
