Joint Legislative Dialogue with the City of Emporia and Lyon County Officials
EMPORIA, KAN. – The Emporia Area Chamber Government Matters Committee along with the League of Women Voters will host a Dialogue on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Bowyer Community Building on the Lyon County Fairgrounds. Coffee and pastries will be available at 8 a.m. with the dialogue discussion beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Representatives from both the City of Emporia and Lyon County will be present to discuss their collaboration on key issues.
Dialogues are a series of community political forums organized each year by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters. All Dialogues are free to attend. This series of forums provide a great opportunity for the public to voice their concerns and ideas to their elected officials.
