David Hurlocker grew up on Air Force Bases around the nation. He graduated high school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He earned a bachelor degree from the Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX.
He has been a Kansan for 31 years and in Emporia for 26. He and his wife Teresa raised 5 children in Emporia and have 4 perfect grandchildren.
He has worked in leadership positions in churches, and in non-profit and for-profit corporations that specialized in Telecom, Transportation and Health Care prior to founding AT-HOME Health Care in 2006 in Emporia, Kansas with his wife.
He has taught courses for organizations on topics ranging from anger and conflict management to communication, customer service and management and leadership. His passion is leadership development.
He holds Level One and Two Certification in Teaching Leadership from the Kansas Leadership Center. He has served as the vice-chairman of Leadership Development for the Emporia Chamber of Commerce and is an active facilitator of its Leadership Emporia program.
